For the Love of Labels This year I will be working to get my craft label collections into stores across the US. Hopefully this will pan out and crafters everywhere will be able to see them in quilt shops nearby! I will be streamlining them to a better size and in keeping with more fun designs for it. This does mean that the current ones I have left in stock in their original sizes will be the legacy format! I will update the linesheets on the For The Love of Labels page wh
The verdict is in: Colored labels are the big hit. So I made several new colored labels. Many of them are great for anyone looking to start on spring and summer projects! The new designs are officially on the website. Check out For the Love of Labels for more images. Thanks so much for everyone who is supporting me on my journey as a designer!
Check out my Etsy Shop for fun embroideries and applique designs. There are new designs for Halloween and Some cute designs for the Christmas seasons! They come in both Digital Download and Physical Pattern formats.
May and June seem to have been left to the wayside here on my blog. I was getting my shop together, developing new ideas and then I went on a vacation overseas to see my family, and handeling the backseat elections of Mautzy van Mauburg and Anja van Barkingstein. I got some great inspiration in Germany and England. I got to see Quilters Dream in person and get the awesome Row by Row designed by Ricky and Janet. The last couple weeks have been the best times for playing in the garden. We have been setting up our new garden beds at home and adding color to our garden with all of our favorite plants. I have also been working on all of my art and designs going onto my new Etsy store, I found out that I need to have permission to use any company to print my designs there so I am waiting on confirmation before I can put up the labels for sale. In the meantime though I will be getting up
Last week I got in some new designs for my labels! There are now some new large labels and some colored smaller labels to look through. See For the Love Of Labels collection to view them all. Over the next couple weeks I will be working on some of my Red Work designs for Quilters Dream in the UK. Thanks everyone for your support!
So I have been working the last couple weeks on getting my labels out into the world! I now have 3 US shops currently carrying some of my designs, as well as one in england (See "where to find") ! I went to see the Ladies at Stitches of Love Quilting on Saturday and enjoyed talking to them about my work and theirs. If you are near the Tallahassee area I suggest stopping in to see their shop! As for the Labels- I am going to be updating some of the smaller ones with colors!
Today I open my new studio website, and with it comes the introduction of the first collections! For the Love of Labels: A collection of fabric labels designed for quilting and crafting. These labels are a cotton and linen blend, thick enough to be embroidered on or written on with perminant inks. These labels come currently in 2 sizes: 5x7 and 6.5 x 3.5. I look forward to creating more fun designs to add to this!
